Like most things in life Facebook can be mis-used. Im an old git ludite at heart and dont see the point as, if I want to talk to someone Ill either pick up the phone or maybe even write them a letter! FFS Im only just getting the hang of this internet lark and cant even text!! ;D.That said, I know an awful lot of people, including workmates and my kids, who do use it a lot and, in itself, I dont see anything wrong with it BUT I do know a lot of people who have got themseves in a fair amount of sh*t with partners/work through using Facebook!!Whether this is simply down to their own stupidity is a moot point but personally Id worry about the whole privacy factor of Facebook/msn etc..
i know it can be mis-used, and according to the media it often is.
but that is the same with most things.
a oof facebook page is just another way of advertising the forum, so properly maintained it can only be a good thing??

I've recently joined facebook despite reservations already stated. I have asked everyone to stop sending me egg, heart, yo'ville, mafia & god knows what else requests which they have done as i've no time to sift through them every night, each to thier own though.
On the plus side I've got in touch with an old schoolmate & a lady friend i always had a thing for (we never did too complicated back then) but it's great to chat to her now. I also love my facebook farm. You only talk to registered friends & few OOF members are on there.
Lizzie. If it's not for you we can still be mates on here!!xxx
