Was this 'commercially' Mark, or on a preserved loco?
Bit of a '47' fan myself, though it was mostly diesel-hydraulics down here on the former western region.

Not the initial criteria I was after to be honest - but a pre or mini facelift in that condition, without rusty doors and arches, is as rare as rocking horse doo...

The fact it's a 2.5 can easily be rectified with a cam-change, at the same time the belt is done  [smiley=evil.gif]

Last couple of days I have been "looking" at the market to see what miggys are out there.

Seems to be sweet beggar all, if you're looking for a facelift V6 estate with leather..  :'(

But you just did a major over-haul on the Pug 406, a lot of work done i seam to re-call, and at fairly large expense?

Is it not worth getting some money back and keep the pug for a while?
