over the last few days i have recieved numerous e-mails and a few off-line msn messages telling me that i was out of order the other night and that people like me are not welcome on oof.

In recent personal experience, it would transpire I am not the only member in recent weeks, to receive emails (outside of the PM system) with messages about being "unwelcome"...

I think this needs investigating further by the Admins!! people who send emails and MSN messages of this nature should be the ones leaving!!! This is not the behaviour of a friendly community!  

We have no control, or ability to investigate the content of, communication systems outside of OOF.

Sorry TB wasn't very clear, I was in mini-rant mode I meant if any of it was via the OOF system, I know you have no control (well I think you don't) of what happens externally

Kris , everybody sometimes have bad and unlucky moments..if those moments collide with each other "as happened" some things may occur..

This forum either this way or that way is a part of our lives..We share and learn too many..

Gaffers, Kris obviously didn't know at the time that you'd PM'd the same message to LJay and was a bit put out by it , but i think there were far more sinister messages being sent especially outside OOF on msn, which frankly is out of order  

OOF doesn't let you send PMs to more than one at a time so I sent to both separately hence why he didn't know.  

The message wasn't intended to push him away but just to make them both realise how silly they both were.  The admins dont deserve it and neither do we.

If he took my small comment bad then I take it back.  He is more than welcome here in my book.  If people have been abusive to him in or out of OOF then they have shown themselves to be ... well worse than any character trait shown on here....

Well as you know TB.........from my post on this matter................I'am more than happy that anyone in the Admin team can read my PM's ......but best not open that can of worms again,

i think the people that have been sending the messages via msn or whatever they used to push people away saying that there not welcome is wrong

what right do they have in saying someone is not welcome

if admin feel a certain person/person's are not welcome they have the powers to tell them and remove them from the site

I'm really gutted that people would be so low as to hound someone out in private. Whatever has occured this form of bullying is totally unacceptable. If you have something to say then at least have the balls and decency to say it in public.
Kris and I have spoken in private and agreed to move on, no grudges held. I really dont see what it has to do with anyone else. I for one had a heated discussion with admin over it and if any action is to be taken then surely its up to them not some gutless wonder.

In my humble opinion Ljay I think you do and you should not curtail your input just because of how the Forum had become prior to the General Chat closure.  

Since then the OOF, I believe has come back to where it was a few months ago where you can post a genuine opinion and not feel you are walking on eggs waiting for the first personal insult just because somebody disagrees with your views and who you are .

Stay with it Ljay please, and let's have soon good debates again as the adults we all are.  I for one would sorely miss you!
