I'm really gutted that people would be so low as to hound someone out in private. Whatever has occured this form of bullying is totally unacceptable. If you have something to say then at least have the balls and decency to say it in public.
Kris and I have spoken in private and agreed to move on, no grudges held. I really dont see what it has to do with anyone else. I for one had a heated discussion with admin over it and if any action is to be taken then surely its up to them not some gutless wonder.
Yes, we both recieved a pm from Gaffers entitled 'full moon?' but I'm sure he will think twice before using that comment to a woman again, at least he admits to sending it.

In my humble opinion Ljay I think you do and you should not curtail your input just because of how the Forum had become prior to the General Chat closure.  

Since then the OOF, I believe has come back to where it was a few months ago where you can post a genuine opinion and not feel you are walking on eggs waiting for the first personal insult just because somebody disagrees with your views and who you are .

Stay with it Ljay please, and let's have soon good debates again as the adults we all are.  I for one would sorely miss you!

Perhaps the answer is for members  not to use expletives in their postings but to conduct exchanges in in a civilised manner & excluding the use of certain 'anglo-saxon' expressions/ words, deliberate misspelling of them or substituting alternative characters for letters contained therein?
That in itself would lessen the risk of exceptions being taken to opinions given.

Now I dont know what has happened, nor do I want to know.
From what I have read the two parties involved have had differing opinions, returned said opinions and backed them up, then reconciled these differences in a mature and adult fashion.

This shoud be the matter closed as it concerns no one else but the two involved.

What kind of forum is this where one feels to have to leave a place where they can feel accepted and welcomed, make a fair few friends, have some banter, and generally have a shared interest with people globally, overrun by approachable, trustworthy and mature people?

No-one should have to feel bullied or pressured in the oof.

As most of you know i've had the odd "colouful moment" on here so am used to being in the thick of it at times. As already said this matter is between the two parties concerned, i played no part publicly or otherwise, in fact i missed it completely!!!
   However what get's my goat is those who've emailed Kris with thier pointless & unwelcome comments. Most respectable folk face thier issues head on, not hide behind an email. I hope next time i meet up with other Oofers & shake hands you are not among them as i don't wish to be associated with the likes of you. Your cowardly actions are beyond reproach & you should be ashamed of yourselves. We all make mistakes, myself included, but i hold my hands up.

   I wonder, or doubt any of you have the balls to admit to sending these emails,... but being the spineless sh*ts you are i won't hold my breath. I hope none of you are attending York or Newent. Guy.
