Thanks :)
« on: 23 April 2009, 16:44:44 »

Many thanks to Loo-Knee and Elite Pete for todays work :)

I now have a correctly functioning coolant system that just needs a flush and a correct mixture of 50:50 pink stuff.

My decision to have someone else do it rather than attempt it myself was vindicated .. the B*****d Bolt lived up to its name .. :( (ably assisted by the additional wiring for the LPG getting in the way), but the boys done good ..  :y :y :y

Nice 2 1/2 hour drive each way but with LPG in Stoke at only 43.8 p / litre (51.7 down here) it was well worth while. I just need some kip now .. getting up at 5.00 am is not my favourite pastime.

Once again . thanks guys .. a job well done  :y :y :y :y

Heats up within a couple of miles, and sits at a tad under 90 on the gauge, doesn't move if heater controls changed ... so I guess its working fine :) as it wasn't behaving like that before !!

Did have to top up the header tank after 120 miles .. but no visible sign of a leak ..... After leaving it to stand from hot for 4 hours it was still holding pressure and looks dry so I'm hoping it was just settling down and air pockets emptying ... I'll keep a watchful eye on it for a few days ..  :y :y :y

As said .. very impressed and extremely grateful  :y :y :y :y
