Concrete Garden Figures
« on: 23 April 2009, 23:40:57 »

A few years ago I was told about a place some where arround Cornwall that made windmills and miniture garden fountains, statues and ornaments etc.  Appartly this place was so popular that it had vistors by the coach load.  So maybe it was part of a craft/hamlet type of setup are part of a garden centre I dont know.

Anyway I ended up via a friend getting a 3 foot tall staue called "The Apple Boy".  This was a young lad carrying a basket on his head that was untilised as a bird table.  The dtetail was fantasic, not like these copies of copies of copies you see sold at car boots.

The reason for the post as you may have guessed is that I am after the location of this place if anyone knows of it or indeed has actually visited it.

TIA.   :y
