Already have :y
All the people who have been allowed into the UK in thelast 10 years from all sorts of cultures and countries, some of them hate this country and would love to destroy it.
The ghurkas however have fought (very bravely)and died for over 2 centuries for this country and this government is going to extraordinary lengths to stop them from coming.I heard the minister responsible say that he had to be careful about setting precedents.

There are no precedents to set -- the Ghurkas have EARNED the right to come here. It's astoundingly hypocritical and downright two-faced of the Government to willingly accept their lives and then begrudge them entry.   >:( >:( >:(

He was basically saying that if we let them in then everyone will think they can come in.How a member of this government could say that with a straight face....... >:(

Quite right HC :y  but then hypocrisy and the twin facade are but few of the many points on the corrupted compass by which this administration has led the country into dangerous waters >:(

I have worked with the Gurkha and hand on my heart they are fantastic soldiers, very professional and hard-working.  There are others who are lets just say less deserving.

The government's whole policy toward immigration and the armed forces is disgusting.  You would not beleive the problems I have had and I am english, an officer and married to an american..... if you thought it was easy to get access for swmbo into the UK even with my credentials then think again  >:( >:( >:(

I shall stop now or I will go on and on over this.
