Not long been back from work due to getting a phone call from ADT telling me the alarm has gone off, the police have been called as it was an intruder activation. So I jump in the mig to get there (5 mins) and beat the police there, got to work and some barstewards have thrown a rock through the window in the door, climbed through had a mooch about found the cash box took the money from that, which was a total of £12 then took the petty cash box and had the money from that £40 ish. The police turned up after I was waving at them (used to be on road wars) and he had a look, got the dog out and had a walk to try and find a scent, but didn't.

Anyway after being there for almost an hour the police officer went I then had to secure the premises and then leave. Soco won't be round until tomorrow sometime and I am on my hols as from today. Plus my assistant managers' partner has gone into labour and won't be in tomorrow either. Great start to my holiday.

All I can say is that my assistant put two days worth of takings in the safe............. I thought that went as well, glad he done the right thing. If he hadn't I wouldn't have a job to go back too.

Sorry to hear that, glad the loss was small. How about some of these new internet cameras ?. You can view them from home, and some have picture detection, eg if something changes in the picture, it send you a message. It can also start a video recorder, so you can get the police out straight away, and hopefully catch the buggers at it.
