Had a slight boo boo at work today
« on: 01 May 2009, 16:41:50 »

I removed the injector pipes from a Lister 6 cylinder diesel  engine today & i was happily transporting it bolt down to a pallet. I'd just started to cross the road outside the works to the yard for storage when un-knowing to me a lump of wood fell off the pallet & had fallen in line of my wheel. Of course the fork lift ran over the lump of wood, my tool box fell off & then followed by the engine. Right in the middle of the road :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ Arh the embarrasment of all these people driving past. My tools scattered every where, i need a new tool box >:( >:( >:( >:( :( :( :(
I could have dug a hole & buried myself in it >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
That's not the last of it some of the coolant ran out & then followed the oil. We were all running around with soak up, brushes & shovels all afternoon.

I'm really glad to be home now. Tonight i'm gona lock the door, have some beers & say kcuf it.
I won't live it down now at work, they'll remind me for weeks/months about it ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D All good fun in a days work :D :D

Thats right, you can always replace tools and a box - arms/legs is a bit harder!! At least you`ve got the weekend to laugh about it - till the p1ss-taking on Monday at work. . . . . .  ;D ;D ;D :y :y
