black bird
« on: 30 April 2009, 23:33:27 »

had to chase a baby black bird around the house tonight when i got home from work, bloody cat brought it through the cat flap anyway took it outside then reallised it could'nt fly so had to catch it again as cat would have got it, found a bucket popped it in and it's dad came and feed it right next to me, it was making a sodding racket almost as loud as the rattles in my mig doors! came up with a plan and it's now in the bucket hanging from the washing line wrapped up in a couple of tea towels and keeps getting visits from parents and the bloody cats prancing around below poor bugger only hope after all this it does'nt rather rain as it probably cant swim yet and cant find my drill to make holes in bucket :-/ :'(

My parent's cat brought a dying mouse in the house. It took them ages to find where the smell of the dead mouse was coming from!! :-?

the worst of it was the mrs phones me up while i'm on the way home from work (was'nt driving honest) going mad that there's another bird in the house! so i;m thinking i'll just have to pick it up and pop it in the bin (black one or council will be all angry and that) but no, it's flapping around all over the shop and craping all over my surround system how much poo can these things hold? it's everywhere anyway going to check on the little sod now might creep up on it and give the bucket a good slap with a fat stick! not really

Just as our cat seems to have got too old for such capers I get a rather bird dropping down the chimney, getting covered in soot and then going apesh!t in the lounge. Now I have little wing imprints all over the ceiling, and another ouitstanding decorating job Mrs. KW can nag me about. >:(

Sue saved a young blackbird from a cat last year, he now lives near us and feeds in our garden. He has a mate as well.
