Aye - you'll want her even more with a totally refurbed top end and an extra 20bhp... ;D

By the way, if you thought it was quick before - the multirams were not working - it will absolutely fly when they are operational too ;D :y

james would doing this porting to a 3.0 give it an extra 20bhp? also dont suppose you know if the 3.0s inlet divider can be ported like the 2.5s?

Hiya Tom - only expecting a couple of BHP from porting - the main increase comes from fitting 3.0 cams :y

May be worth putting some 3.2 manifolds on it - that could be interesting!

So you have used the 2.6 gasket for the 2.5 then?

Not sure I would be to comfortable with that given the 1.6mm larger bore on the 2.6

Would that not leave a very small gap between the block and the heads?  :-/

The fire rings would not meet the cylinders? They would be slightly inset  :-/

Yep you would get a small indent around the tops of the bores.

Might be ok but could also create a hot spot and cause issues. It might also result in mega stresses as when the fuel exhaust mix lights, any in this recess would try to force the head and block apart.

Will be interesting to see the results!  :y

Pretty sure that the 3.2 and 3.0 inlets are the same, the 3.2 exhaust manifolds are better though

Is it simple to change the V6s manifolds the haynes book put me right off it started mentioning about removing the engine for the left bank is this nonsense? i could get hold of 3.2 manifolds very easily there is some in a scrapper engineless but with manifolds / precats in the boot

is there anything else i can do also to tune my v6 up i know all the vectra b v6 tuning tips but non of them work with the omega :( bored out throttle bodies made no noticible difference on the mig
