Sammy has actually gone missing  >:(

I've searched the garage. I've even searched the rugby field out the back in case I'd had a drunken moment of rage that I'd forgotten.  I haven't plucked up the courage to knock on neighbours door to see if I'd thrown in their garden....

When you have let me know how to change the bulbs in my hotpoint cooker and the bulb in my hinari microwave....they've both blown too  >:(  ;D

Seriously, your creda cooker, is the type that has the controls at the back above the hotplates?
Is it a ceramic hob type/double oven?

Just my parents have one like that....and i know my dad has changed the tube on his...so if it is I can ask him how to get to the tube....if you are still stuck?

if its the freestanding unit its sides off hob top unscrews from the sides, unplug top then pull away. you should be able to get to the bulb thro the back end of the dials under plate. if not a freestanding unit let me know...
