sticky for useful part numbers?
« on: 06 February 2007, 23:17:40 »

How about a sticky in Gen Help or Car parts listing common part numbers.

Often I need to ring the dealer for a part and they faff around on EPC, be better if I could just give them the part number.

Talking most common ones here:

Discs & Pads
Sensors (brake, cam, crank)
Belts
cruise stalks
breather pipes

I paid about £1.50 for a new breather pipe for my dads 2.2. It was cheaper than carb cleaner!

Its in the FAQ section!

What we don't want is thousands of stickies at the top getting in the way of real threads.  Do we really need a sticky to tell people to check FAQ....  ....I hope not...
