Bloody thieving t###s
« on: 06 May 2009, 16:11:07 »

I cannot stand the dodgy rather people who drive round in their flat bed lorries on the scrounge for a bit of scrap to make a few quid.

My neighbour had been cleaning his motor and took his new set of golf clubs out the boot and put them at the top of my driveway.
He then popped to the shop for no more than ten mins during which time a bloke decided to walk up the drive and help himself to the full set!

Thankfully my old man was at my house and stopped him as he was getting back into his van, just a shame i wasn't at home with my nice friendly Police dog..i'm sure he'd have liked to say hello  :D

A neighbour of mine was doing a major diy job which included moving a good few radiators. He left them out side to drain down properly and.........guess ;D

First house - I still had the Sunbeam and I blew the crown wheel on a 3.54 diff.

Just after I managed to locate some spare parts it was knicked from my parking space - had to run 4.41 for nearly a year until I got a 3.7.

I liked the 3.54, tall enough for fast motorway work - like 7200RPM in top

We should be able to leave anything out on our own property, but it's not like that nowadays.
Come on, who in their right mind leaves a set of golf clubs out and then nips to the shop, leaving them unattended. Depending on the make, they could be serious money. I bet he locked his doors tho'.
He's lucky your old man was on the ball. :y
