Omega Seats

Does anyone find the seats on Omegas really uncomfortable? Not sure if they differ between models but on my V6 CD its back breaking! Went on a long drive and I was well and my lower back is foobarbed.

I can (and have) done several hundred miles a day in my Omegas. Both been really good from that point of view.

Is the lumbar proper adjusted for you

Nope... I find it's like driving an arm chair! Recently did 650 miles in a day and felt fresh as a daisy!

I've driven thousands of miles in many different Omega's and i've never had any problems infact its one of the most comfy cars i've driven. Is your car high mileage or is the seat broken?

in all fairness the omega is the most comfertable car ive ever driven!

unlike the usual vauxhalls the omega has nice n big comfy seats unlike the biscuit thin things found in mostly all modern cars!

ive done a 600mi trip to jordie land n back to buy a car with a friend that suffers from neck problems and even he commented on how comfy the seats are on a long distance trip ive got the sports leather same as TB

FYI All of the Leather seats fitted to omegas are Recaro

I think you're on your own!  :-? I can drive all day and feel as fresh as a daisy ( I wonder why they only have 1 adjustable lumbar support? ::))
Does your passenger seat feel as uncomfortable? Is there a galactic milage on your car that might contribute to your seat being rubber ducked?

Unlike a lot of smaller FWD drive cars, you tend to sit further down in the seat, unlike the Astra for example where you seem to sit ON the seat.
We all know what a Recaro style seat is ;)  ;)  ;)  Whether or not it's made by Recaro

I find them quite good, thought the Senator was much better.
Did Essex to Stranraer in one go in the Senny and felt fresh as a daisy at the other end,did it many years previously in the HS chevette and almost needed an osteopath when I got to Stranraer. :)
