Guys please if you haven't already done so and get in touch with Hotel21 to arrange Tech II software updates!!!

I cant emphasize enough how much better this will make your Omega

I went today and had Climate updates and more importantly Gearbox updates, the drive back home was night and day,it was like driving a different car!
Mine is a 2.2 Auto and performed pretty well(or so i thought) it now kicks down the box a lot quicker and now seems to be doing its job properly...i.e jumping up and down the box under load etc.....instead of 'lumbering' when going up hills etc, before it would stay in top gear and would physically need a depress on the accelerator to help it,or manually drop a gear......
The car now drives in normal mode as it did yesterday in 'Sport' mode....Sports mode now is kamikaze stuff!!! and its brill!
The drive home,i gave it a good stretch of the legs and it always seemed ready to drop a gear and go for it........
At one point i dropped the speed to around 30mph and sank the boot in 'Sport' mode and it dropped a couple of gears and took off! it redlined in every gear and was soon over the ton and still going,i surrendered before the car did....... :y
Had i did this yesterday it struggled to red line before changing to the next gear.......

In summary,it has gone from a sluggish 4 pot to a pretty quick off the mark 4 pot......
I reset all my average consumption before i went and going it was 27.2mpg(at normal driving) I reset again when i left H21's and when i got home the average consumption was 30.4mpg (and that was a 'stretching it' driving) so harder and faster driving, but the consumption still had improved!

All in all i cant believe the difference it has made to the car and i would urge anyone and everyone to go and get this done,it will be the best £50 you will spend!!!
Up here in Scotland Hotel21 is your man,an all round decent bloke who knows that TechII inside out and its impressive to watch him work it!

Maybe if there are a few coming down to either have their Cambelts done or just for a chat, Hotel21 maybe able to make it armed with his Tech2  :y
