I've found Aldi pretty good, if you don't like the product, they'll offer a refund.

How do you intend to be finding the satellites once you get to your destination?

I've got a very similar one and it's great.
TV makes heavy demands on a leisure battery but I've just connected two 110ah ones in parallel to double the capacity at the same voltage, and I use a small 15w solar panel to trickle charge them when I'm away from the mains.
Have a read here.

Mail David Craig at the Satellite Superstore,  where you'll get un-biased and technically correct information concerning mobile systems :y

sat finders are a waste of money

the only ones that are good are proper spectrum analyser ones or proper ones that can get the servoce id off the satellite but they cost loads

you can align to astra 28.2 / eurobird with a compass ;) try www.lyngsat.com

the compass method will require fine tuning easy though just use the signal stregnth off the box

An old trick for tunning for best results (with or without Sat Finder Signal) is once you have found your signal / picture is to pvc tape a Penny or five pence over the LNB and then you can really fine tune for best results whilst looking at the picture or Sat signal.

Tighten up, remove penny, job done perfect results in all weather.  :y
