Would love a NEW Mig
« on: 17 May 2009, 13:56:02 »

Just sitting watching the rain falling, reading some posts and as usual getting the feeling people really love their migs.
I would love to have owned a brand spanking new top spec mig (company directors, ex city traders and MPs only).
It must be great to buy, service and maintain a top motor - I don't belive I would stand the initial costs even if had that kind of money.
Dream over :)

I had a couple brand new as company cars a few years a go - and S-reg and then a W-reg. I liked them so much I've owned 4 others since then. Not sure I would have liked forking out £25k for one though!   :o

Not worth buying any car brand spanking new -- kiss goodbye to a few grand as you leave the forecourt and a few hundred each month for the first year  :(

I went to look at a brand new Jaguar XKR 5.0 Supercharged the other day.

Damn that thing was nice, and not just a bit. I've been boring our lass with details for the past few days and she keeps reminding me I could never afford the insurance never mind the car! 75Kish I think it was!

Still, it's something to work towards.

And I would like to buy a brand new one (unused)..

But with those ridiculous monster initial taxes (nearly % 120 added to original price even for a 2.0 let the bigger engines)  and joke style salaries may be in an other life.. >:( >:( >:(

A small price considering how much motor you get.
