This is the link on photobucket - http://s641.photobucket.com/albums/uu138/rogthedodge100/

I forgot to write down the name of the LPG conversion but it does look very neat and professional, he hasn't got the certification so I will have to have it checked out anyway.

Cheers Roger

That is why I want an Omega they do seem very well appointed, hope they handle as well as my BM though - lol
How do you load pictures up on here or do I have to put them somewhere else and then put the link here??
A hell of a lot better than the BM in the wet, nearly as good in the dry I can vouch for that  :) Very good cars Migs are 1000 quid is way way to much money though.

Bear in mind that it'll set you back best part of a ton to get the LPG certified

Has the wrong wheels (CD ones fitted), otherwise looks quite cheap to fix on the surface.

Didn't know about the wheels, it has 16in fitted, all the tyres are good..

If most people think it is too much money, what would be a sensible price to offer him?

While I am asking questions, would a pre facelift rear load cover fit it as I tend to leave the golf clubs in the back, mind you the way I play some days, it might be doing me a favour to have them lifted.   :D

Really needs a bonnet too TBH... I think it's a bit overpriced for a 4 pot personally ::) ::) ::)

The LPG kit is only really worth about £800 on a good day (and fully certified!), as that's more than enough to get a kit from the supplier we get a discount from and DIY it :y :y :y

Personally I wouldn't part with much more than about £650 :y :y

Hmmmm what 's that red panel on the bumper in photo 3 ?, is it an ex taxi ?, if so suspect the mileage. Remember a Cat C and D stick with the car for ever, so if you later sell it, you are supposed to tell the buyer, else it gets messy.  :P

However, could be a good deal if you plan on keeping it for a while. The damage looks minor, it looks as if a replacement headlamp and it would pass an MOT. I work out write off cars as follows:   take bottom book value, half it, and that's what you should pay for the car and parts. That kind off covers the loss in value because of the write off, remember the insurance wouldn't write it off again for a lot of dosh.

However it could be good. My current Miggy is a class D write off, damaged paint work, however its a class car, and I plan to keep it for several more years. Yours has the advantage of being an estate, which I wish I had some times.  :y :y :y

I noticed that plate when I was loading the picture as well, first time I have noticed it, I know it wasn't on the car when I viewed it. I think a phone call is in order, although the chap is Polish and somewhat difficult to understand.  Thanks for the insights, I think a fair bit of haggling is in order. :o :o

Thanks for all of the advice, I have told him I'll offer £600 for it so we will see if he ever gets back to me.
I shall carry on looking for one as they do seem like very underrated cars.  :) :) :)

That they are! ;) ;)

Maintain them well and to me they always pay for themselves in splendid comfort, good riding qualities and speed, once you get them wound up in "sports" mode! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) ;)
