LOL, dunno really. Mind you I can't say I miss having one - the last car I had with a sunroof started leaking and suffered with wind noise when closed.

Not had that with an Omega, but i know what you mean.
Just found an <MV6 est with 60k, £2.8k which is quite good for a dealer and is suppossed to be mint ::) (heard that before) so i wont turn it down just for the sunroof.
How is yours going??

Apart from a couple of niggles, it's sweet as a nut.:y TBH it's been really good in the 2 or so years that I've had it. The only breakdown I've ever had is when the HBV went. The main niggle is the bloody EML thats been on for about 6 months due to the sensor on the pre-cats that the 3.2 is prone to. Which MV6 are you looking at, 3.0 or 3.2?

3.2 :)
Its the only way forward, and if i get it then LPG wont be far away either.
I have been after a very good 3.2 since before you got yours, they dont come around very often ::)
Wanted an Elite but an MV6 will do and just upgrade what i can when i can ;)

no sunroof on mine, early days it was aircon or sunroof, MV6 facelift its optional extra, CDX/Elites had them as standard.

But i think they are bloody useless things that just let in heat.

The biggest difference you're going to find is how much stiffer the MV6 sports suspension is giving a very firm ride but damn good handling. If you're happy with that I'm sure you'll love the MV6. I drove my ex-missus CDX estate a few weeks ago and it seemed unbelievably soft by comparison. I also really like the the MV6 interior but I'm not sure mine's standard or not as it has Recaro sports leather seats, and I actually prefer the silver trim to the the wood effect trim.

Prefacelift MV6 (retail, not plod) is CDX spec (ish), thus has sunroof. Std stereo is CCR600 with CDC2

Facelift MV6 is CD spec, thus no sunroof. Stereo is CDR2005, though many appear to have been sold with the CCR2006 option.

I agree about the silver trim as oppossed to the wood ;)
So very basic in spec then being only a CD. :(
So will need leather sports interior(rocking horse poo)
Self dimming mirror.
Upgrade the radio, fit sat nav ::)
O how busy is this going to be ;D

CD is hardly poverty spec. Just not quite Elite std.

Its missing:
memory seats (inc memory mirrors etc. Not Memory seat loom NOT installed)
sunroof
bose
cd changer (but most have one)
cruise

Can't think of anything else, as things you say were options on Elite
Satnav (only std on 3.0/3.2)
Leather (only std on 3.0/3.2)
