The vendor is taking non prescription drugs....end of!

If he manages to get even half of the asking price, then he has obviously been lucky enough to find an individual who is taking the same $hit as him.

It's over priced and legally he can't sell it !!!

He admits it has an outstanding debt against it .. so it belongs to the finance company

Walk away ... very quickly !!!

That depends on how much of the debt is owing as to whether he can legally sell it or not.

Spot on  :y :y

It's barely worth £1000, let alone the £2,300 he thinks it's worth.

I like the fact that his missus damaged the bumper, but he's touched her up!

Got this response to my question

hi autos are much more then a mv6!plus ive spent the asking price on this car alone over the last year.so maby you can get something close to mine for £800 but my car is 110% fully working, and i know theres no comeback as car is 110% if this car does not sell for £1,999.i would keep and carry on driveing her,she is faultless apart from some miner marks on rear bumper and frunt bumper.but in the end tom you need to understand i have to clear hp of,£1,500 so i stuck with car, unless you want to make a offer.much thx(ps 2 new tyres put on)and keep inmind what would you be buying for under a grand?cheers dave flagship modle

with £1500 of finance on it considering its age and my Trade knowlege i reckon its got a loan with a company called "Log Book Loans Or Mobile Money" no other HP company would touch that with a barge pole too old for there books Deffinalty avoid at all costs im dam rite sure its against the law to sell a car on with outstanding HP on it

Why is an auto so much better than an MV6?????????????

"dave flagship modle" sounds like a real genius doesn't he. ;D
He's spent 2K on it in the past year, that's cam covers, DIS pack, an oil change, a pair of tyres, brake pipes and a cambelt.
Someone really saw him coming then. ;D ;D

Or Yes car credit  ;D

I can see what's happened.....the current owner has a crap credit rating, so he's gone to one of these companies that give credit to anyone at the expense of an outrageous APR.

Based on his syntax, I'd say he didn't fully understand what he was signing up for until it was too late. Now it has finally dawned on him that his £2,300 car is worth £700 tops and he's going to spend the next 5 years of his life paying for it, he's cacking himself.

I have just checked that, and you can indeed legally sell a car that has outstanding finance on it.

Buyer arrives
Finance company are contacted
Finance company talk to prospective buyer
Prospective buyer agrees to pay finance company
Finance company & prospective buyer sort out among themselves how the outstanding debt will be settled, then the car can change hands.

In that case I reckon I'll sell my 99 S plate Mini Facelift Elite with Sequential LPG for about £2k and get myself a nice, late registered facelift 3.2 Elite Estate for £1500, stick LPG on it and run that about for a few years ;D ;D ;D ;D
