What a brilliant device!
« on: 19 May 2009, 09:51:08 »

Never had a problem reversing a caravan, still don't, but, where I store the van, it's impossible to reverse/pull it out of it's spot without manhandling, due to a wall.

Had to get a mover fitted, brilliant, can position it on a sixpence.

I had a male engineer friend who fitted a towing hitch mount to the front of his cars.  He only put the hitch itself on when using the caravan.  He could push a big double axle (pikey type :D :D) caravan into the tightest of spaces. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Her dad has one on his pikey wagon (lane is too small to tow van on and off drive), and it works really well, despite the slope on his drive.

Same make I have fitted to my van, wouldn't be without it now.
Some sites are so tight for manouvering that it makes it a easy just to site the van with the mover. Saves the clutch on you motor as well.
One man job to hitch up or remove.............best bit of kit I've invested in. :y :y

My caravan came with a Reich mover already fitted, I don't think Barrons had intended to leave it on though.  :y  :y  :y
