It takes that long for you guys to R&R an instrument cluster?!  :D

Maybe you should wait until you're done to start drinking this time?  ;) ;D

 ;D

I hope to have them out and refitted by 2.00pm Saturday then its out on the town for a few to many beers. Get up Sunday morning take a couple of headache tablets, full english breakfast let the beer wear off then drive home. :y

This miggy service already cost me £200!! Well to be fair, I did owe bob the money  :P

Will need to get a big service and MOT done on my escort soon. It shouldnt cost more than £100, since I'll be doing it myself (with a little help from my mate who's a qualified mechanic).

Actually you'd be surprised how hard those are to find in some parts of London!  Most of the time you are fine, but I once spent several hours hiking across half of London without finding anywhere to eat or drink.  :o

General area where you'll be?

What's the likelihood of coming back to city center, at least later?  That's pretty far out the other side.

Re: Deep wallets needed for Omega's!! - Update

Finally got my car back last night after 3 days due to parts supplier not turning up with rocker box & gaskets when they should have. As suspected, the bill was a bit of a wallet basher, but I thought it was fairly reasonable for the work carried out. Anyway, here's the details:-

Full major service including air filter, oil filter, oil, fuel filter, pollen filter, spark plugs, front brake pads and sensors, brakes cleaned and adjusted, brake cleaner.
Rocker box and gaskets
Crankcase breathers cleaned (they weren't too bad apparently)
New tyre, valve & balance
Coolant/antifreeze change
Brake fluid change
gearbox & diff oil checked/topped up
New sump plug

..........and the cost

£393.90 + VAT
Total £462.83

OUCH!! :'(
