Before, with directline, I paid £50 a month there abouts for my insurance on the 2.5V6 omega. This was 3rd party, fire and theft.
When I enquired about insuring the new 2.0 GLS, they told me it would be slightly cheaper, but only by a couple of pounds a month. I was expecting more of a drop, but never mind I thought. So I ask how much more for fully comprehensive insurance. £8 a month more I was told, for the singing and dancing policy with all the bells and whistles.
Ok I thought, never been fully comp, got a nice car now, lets do it.
Then she asks if I've got breakdown cover. Umm.. no! But I really should take it, as I'm often on the motorway network during the dead of night!! So I take out their top level breakdown cover, again with all the bells and whistles, eg accomodation, all onwards travel, recovery anywhere, homestart... blah...
All in all, my policy is now £70 a month, for the best of everything.
Is this reasonable, given that I'm 23? I've got 3 yrs NCD, and one fault accident against me in 2005 (even though it clearly wasn't my fault

)
