There's a rumour going round that Alan Sugar is joining the cabinet: :o

"19:49: The gossip is that Sir Alan Sugar's visit to Number 10 was not a courtesy call. It is suggested that he has been offered a role in the Cabinet and has accepted. This seems far fetched, but the source is good enough to make it worth recording at least......."

Surely not? Who voted for him? Then again, who voted for GB to be PM? :(

Must be a wind-up. :P

Hmm someone who made a fortune by pedalling crap :(

Sugar gets peerage.

So now we are to be ruled by Lord Sugar and Lord Mandelson, neither of whom we elected.

Democracy in action!  >:(

* Lord Adonis to be Transport Secretary - that makes three unlected members of cabinet.

* Labour MP Ian Gibson resigns - means by-election in Norwich

* Hoon, Beckett and McNulty also going.

* Pound slides on turmoil.

GB more concerned about clinging to power than the state of the country, methinks.  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Youthinks correctly Nick. :y

Concerning 'Sir' Sugar, what will people not do for a peerage?

This notion that honours signify a recognition of true worth is patent nonesence when one considers the caliber of the canditates put forward - especially the latest one ;)

It'd be amusing if it wasn't such a travesty. Anyone else want a peerage? Just kiss Brown's butt and you're in.

Would the last one out please turn off the lights? ::)

.. although, as nobody has got round to making any decisions on energy policy (or anything else that matters) lately, I guess they won't have to bother. ;D
