Why are swmbo's so complicated???!!!
« on: 06 June 2009, 21:35:35 »

Was looking around a couple of garages for something cheap and cheerful for 17 year old.
well a Golf Cabriolet caught both of our eyes ;) Price, condition, colour, everything, she sat in it, I sat in it, nothing special but fine for swmbo, will she have it, NO cos it is a manual. Until 18 months ago she flatly refused to drive an auto. Now can't get her out of the Galant :( as it is nearing the end.

In another garage the salesman told her she will not find a mid size auto that will be any quicker than our 2.0L mig, even though this garage was giving up to £3k scrappage one many second hand cars.

Needless to say we bought nothing and I refuse to sell the Mig given the low price I can get for it. :o ::) :-/ :-X

Easy option, she drives Mig, Galant gets px against a small car, she is not seeing sense and we do not have room for 4 cars......... :)
