My dad has passed away this morning at approx 10 am. Unfortunatley  they could not get his blood pressure to rise and his kidneys shut down as well as other complications that had set in or where begining to set in so they asked for mine and my brothers permission to switch the life support off as they had reached the limits of what they and the drugs they where adminstering could do....So with a heavy heart and the doctors and consulants advice in mind i gave permission and sat with dad till he passed away....thanx for all your concern and words of advice and comfort .....  :'( :'( :'(

Bertie I was leaving some comments for Sethsmate on the sad death of his mother when I saw your post.

Please allow me to express my most sincere sympathy to both you and your family in your time of grief.

It always comes as a terrible responsibility when we are required to make such a decision, but we must consider the ultimate welfare of our loved one.

You and your family should be proud that you found the strength to display the extent your love in these circumstances by following the medical advice, and that strength will surely fortify your resolve to deal with whatever there is to come.

I also remember you in prayer.

Bertie I am so sorry to hear of this bad news :'( :'( :'( :'(  You are now going through terrible times, but the sun will shine again for you, although you may not think so at the moment. :( :(
