Labour have come second to UKIP in Hull - the city of both Alan Johnson and John Prescott.

Sweden has just elected 2 MEPs whose manifesto is free music downloads.  :o :o

Yep, I think so, but they topped the poll in Sunderland. Interestingly, in your neck of the woods, UKIP have done poorly but SNP have done well.

totally polls apart (pun intended  ;)) SNP is primarily socialist/liberal government - UKIP have no real presence - but then again, up here we NEED more people so it's a completely different perspective

Cornwall – Labour sixth with 8,500 votes

Wales has conservative majority for the first time in any election. Ever.

I don't thik they are winning, so far only 3 results in, the last 2 columns of the BBC link are what to look at.
