heard the fascists won a few seats tho.....

Yep, and the Labour thieving arrogant muppets lost a few......

 :y

they're all thieving, arrogant muppets, webby - you can't lay that at Labours door - altho it's inevitable that the ruling party get the most blame
It was thieving Gormless Brown who stole my pension and approx.50% of my wages by introducing his countless stealth taxes. ;)

....... I hope people remember that come the general election Albs ;) :-/

fair do's, name a party that will reduce taxes Albs - i remember the poll tax riots if you want to dance round unfair taxes - thats what democracy is all about -this is it in action - you don't like the gov't, vote them out - remember this is just the euros so it won't change a thing until the gen. election tho - i'll keep my powder dry til i see what alternatives there are

The Tories use to reduce taxes but those days are long gone.I can remember the whole poll tax fiasco and feeling at the time that it was unjust, having said that the rises in council tax under this lot in this part of the country have been nothing short of staggering, make the poll tax look like redistribution of wealth. :y
Just to be clear,I am an ex socialist who (so far ) has never voted Tory. :)

BNP pick up one seat in Yorkshire.

Projected to pick up one more in North West.

They say it may be the story of the night. But the real story is the collapse of Labour, the rise of UKIP and so on. These extremists distract from the real news. So I dislike them for yet another reason.

Griffin presently speaking on Sky News
Just watched the interview,I agreed with most of what he said until near the end when he was asked who can join the BNP,he fluffed and flanneled and avoided but part of his answer was "we just look, we just know",he tried not to admit that skin colour was a determining factor, but he couldnt deny it.
Shot himself in both feet in my book.
BUT it has been the ludicrous anti British and completely open door immigration policies of the linen suited, sandal wearing, champagne socialists from middle class backgrounds who have brought about the rise of the BNP. >:(
