Martins Weight loss thread
« on: 29 April 2009, 22:16:35 »

I have swolen up since my fall and my back is not getting better.

So got the doctors to provide free Weight Watchers, quite interesting, and I save over £5 a week.

Only just started but I have a first target of about a stone.

I was probably heaviest there but definately not the fattest - unless the ball was heavier than she looked.

Quite a few women in mid teens.

Quite a few were not very fat!

My fat is 3/4 my belly!

Anyway I'll post my losses each week

Oh and I am having problems eating enough as I have cut out most cheese and some alcohol, all chocolate and all crisps. 4 points short today and I am not hungry.

Interesting, I've gone from 15st 6 to 13st 2 in 8 months.
Haven't really changed my eating habits to be honest, just riding more horses now so burning the energy off quicker!

A few years ago I tried the Atkins diet --- it was great for a few weeks, but then I even started to go off bacon !!!!!!  Lost a fair bit of weight though.  All back on again now, so must come up with a plan ...........

Slow and steady is the best way to make it stay off. Crash diets are a short term fix.  :y

I started dieting at the start of february.
Eating healthier,
Starting drinking vodka and diet bru instead of ales and guinness,
Going to the gym, regularly, unfortunately due to having poor hips and knees, the cardio fell by the wayside,
Playing badminton and golf a lot more regularly,

Went from 16st10 to 16 dead.

That was over the course of one month.

Currently at............

16st dead!

Dont seem to be able to lose any more.

Got a fair bit more upper body strength though, but still got a bit of a belly.

Still, I am 6'3 and I noticed my jeans are quite loose now.
So I might purchase a 34 waist for comparison.

Struggle to get clothes to fit properly though.

Human body have some resistance points when loosing weight..if you continue you will  continue to lose ..but I recommend a professional check for your nutrition.. :y
