A lot of driving today
« on: 07 June 2009, 20:00:14 »

Been down to Sidmouth in Devon and back today. Total of 380+ miles but lovely comfortable trip. Took the cdx, did really well on fuel at a steady 70mph both ways. Not many cars I have previously driven are so comfy on such long journeys.
What is the most miles any of your migs have done in one day?

I seem to remember Markie an Mrs Markie driving to Buckinghamshire or thereabouts from Renfrewshire to pick up a miggy.

That's a few miles.

About 250mi but it took about 29,000,000 days because the M5 got rather broken and Brizzol was slighly congested.
- Thank goodness for ECC.

About 6-700mi continental - because it is so much easier there,  happend to be in a comfy Renualt at the time.  Indeed, had to force ourselves to stop as we made a day on the return leg!
