yet again down here in the south east. Sainsbury's in Ashford, and a previously cheap independant filling station have both hit 100.9 per litre this morning, with only Morrison's just under at 99.9 for unleaded!

It is again climbing to silly money again when filling up the tank, and we still have a 2p per litre fuel duty tax rise to make an appearance in September!

Oh well, the reality is I cannot and will not cut back on my driving of a 'gas guzzler', so out comes my purse again!

We are certainly at the mercy of the world's financial institutions with this one Ron, and certainly the producers know how to play the game to their advantage.

I was quite suprised how cheap petrol was in London when I was there yesterday, its been over a £1 a litre here for about 10 days

Unlike most things, it sometimes is a bit cheaper in London for some reason. I'm just outside London in the suburbs and its been over £1 for a week or so - barsteward government and greedy oil companies.

Let's be realistic though...if we were really worried about the cost of fuel then we sure as s*hit wouldn't be driving Omega's.

went to fill up today and petrol was same price as diesel £1.039/ltr ....ouch glad i drive a oilburner at the moment

Let's be realistic though...if we were really worried about the cost of fuel then we sure as s*hit wouldn't be driving Omega's.

Well obviously we have been spoiled in the South East, with it being 98.9p at Sainsbury's only just the other day as LSG has said.  But now 100.9, and I wish I had filled up when I could have done.
