Which work of fiction did you get that one from?! 

I think it was something to do with dabbing your fingerprint on a record when they clocked on for work in the saltworks or fields  :-/

How do you know I am guffing right now?  I am getting worried!   

btw, its the only way to make sure the wife can hear me and all those times when she says she cant/didn't hear what I had said.... total 'dangle berries'!
