In what way? just looking for something cheap and cheerful for 17 year old, and it is tidy and low miles. :-/ It is only just up the road so I would view it, before making my offer through ebay :-X

Maybe trying to get a 17 year old insurance is hard enough but on a cat c might be a bit of a challenge.
Could be as hard as getting an omega, like I did just after I passed my test at 17 :-X

"HAVE NEVER KNOWN ANY OIL LEAK COST MUCH TO REPAIR" ...... I have !!!!

Anyway -- if it seems straight on inspection, suss out who the seller has had it insured with and give them a bell -- see the lie of the land re your 17 year olds prospects with them.  You can but ask  :y

Think I might give this a miss. Have contacted the seller of this one, asking him to get in touch if it does not sell. 5 mins away so got to be worth a look.

Yes, I am thinking that.  The bidding is slow. I have made contact saying that I can not act in the time available, but intend to buy a car this weekend. I  dont know what his reserve is, I would be testing the water at around £500, using local knowledge and pointing out other cars in two local secondhand dealers, where I could PX the Mitsubishi

Yup Saxo is a much better bet, fiats seicento's are just awful even for a 17 yr old, my sis in law had one it was honestly the most awful thing i've ever driven in my life even worse than a Lada that I bought for 35 quid before  ;D
