Are we following different sports?

I'm talking about the FIA Formula 1, you know, Ecclestone, Mosely, that spoilt brat Hamilton etc....

What are you referring to?

Used to love it,from 78 until 94,when Senna died, most of my interest has since disappeared.Thought it was at its absolute worst when the cheating German was dominant.

.....and Gilles villenueve, the last of the do or die generation, and of course they were all man enough to race at Brands Hatch,a proper racing circuit imo, unlike the soulless Silverstone whose only features are artificial rather like the adjacent Milton Keynes. :y

I like Brands.  But for modern F1, it is entirely unsuitable. I mean, these gay playboys will use any excuse not to race properly, so at least give them a track there is at least a chance to overtake on (in an F1 car).

I think Donnington is a mistake, as to make it suitable for F1 will mean it losing all of its charm. Silverstone has been modified, for the worse imho, in an attempt to make it more F1 friendly.

That said, I don't care who has the British GP, as long as it isn't Silverstone.  Main roads around here now closed for through traffic, many back roads are currently a big 1 way system, and are starting to get busy, and the rather helicopters have started  >:(

My brother beat that. 3 weeks ago he was at the GP circuit in Spain driving (himself) Formula 1 cars around the circuit (obviously after sending him round in F3 first for a few laps). Now that is 'Jammy Git'  >:(
