Depends really on many things...

What do you want from your riding?
How old are you?
How big are you?

Personally, I was going to stick to 125cc but my instructor pointed out to me that I'd get bored very quickly so I did DAS. I've never regretted it :y :y

CBT only lasts a couple of years, then you have to do DAS anyway

first experience for me on bike was my CBT, while i shat my self the first hour on it, after that, you realize 125cc are useless gutless things.

A bigger bike is safer!

125's flat out do 60, downhill maybe hit 70.

I went straight from CBT to DAS.

You want to get a decent bike, also get your own gear! Makes things so much more comfy  :)

A 125 is fine around town. I had mine for 3yrs when I lived in Aylesbury, but rarely left town in it (was a 2 stroke, so little quicker than current 125s), but inability to keep up with traffic on open roads was a problem...
