Miss Vamps has had her bike stolen
« on: 23 June 2009, 22:01:14 »

From outside the house, sometime today. Been outside for some time, hidden by the Mig, but the Mig is on the road and the Saxo is smaller.
I know it should have been in the garage and we should have had it 'stamped' or otherwise marked. Asked the neighbours but they saw anything, but no, it will be long gone and in another village or town by now.
I did report it to the Police, not that I expect them to do anything but they may come across it in connection with other things.  And I feel it is important to report all crime or the statistics will be wrong.

All in our quite little village as well >:(

Sorry to hear this - hope Miss Vamps is OK.

When I was 9 (in 1969) I had my new bike stolen from inside the entrance to the church I was attending. The thief rode it around the corner and was knocked over by a Corona lorry!

Devine retribution? ;D ;D ;D
