Lol, they dont clear until they have been powered for about....err 3 weeks.

Ours smokes likely buggery despite a very recent re-build.....trouble is, it never gets properly warmed up.

The 08 was running nice and clear though....after chugging along at full chat (15mph ;D) for 5 miles with 4 coaches and a 76 on tow.

Lol, I note the switch design has not changed in 40 years!

I thought the 82's were dummy locos for the other end of a 91 operated train?

Well in that case someone should fit a boiler in it, walschaerts valve gear with rotary motion, along with three cylinders per power bogie, and call it a Leader Class!! ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

Stupid diesels, false power units; all bluff!! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;) ;)

Well Mark I have been realiably informed it is nothing but an empty hulk with the real power unit on the other end in the form of a 91! :o :o :o

What is a true steam girl to think?? ::) ::) :D :D ;)

Diesel, electric......all the same.......boring (unless a Deltic! 8-) 8-)), nothing as good as steam! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)
