Bliss... the sound of silence!
« on: 17 February 2007, 15:56:01 »

Just got a new factory exhaust fitted (all 3 boxes), and wow! It's eerily quiet now, even at full throttle. I can now hear the induction noise when I plant the gas, and I can be confident my multi-ram is working as you can hear the induction note getting deeper and slightly louder when it kicks in.

All I can say is avoid pattern exhausts like the plague :P I'm much happier with the car now, no more trying to avoid using the 1500-2500 RPM range due to the drone!

The genuine ones are good, and same price as pattern on TC

You can get the particularly nasty aftermarket stuff cheaper than TC, but it really is a case of getting what you pay for in this case. I can't believe I put up with that drone for over a year.
