The presenters try to beat the recession by finding three sensibly priced small cars that are fun to drive - a task that involves pestering bankers, harnessing large dogs and almost getting arrested. It was the show where they entered the Britcar endurance race at Silverstone with the 330d, the fuel was apparently badly blended and caused damage to a fuel pump seal.
