sorry i have been gone a while.

well while i have been away from OOF i have passed all my exams and now am a full aircraft enginnering technican supervisior (Avionics) work has got me now working 13hr shifts. only 3 day weeks but the other 2 days i am trying to recover from the previous day!

i have been away to holland then on a floting dutch tin can. bloody dry ship so no boose and working 8hrs on and 8hrs off! it was fun i guess.

Have been trying to help my old dears with preping for my sisters wedding in august.

oh and in all that spend some time with my son and hubby ( which over the past 2 months we have only seen each other for 7 days intotal at home. we bump into each other at work)  my son keep telling me its not fair i have to work so much  :-[

its good but busy how everyone else?

now am a full aircraft enginnering technican supervisior (Avionics)  Congratulations marie.  Bet there was some graft and studying put into to attain that.  Well done.  Do you have a pilots licence for the job, and do they let you test em after you fix em. ::)

cheers guys, yes it was hard work but well worth it. i did actually fail my final exam but passed it on my resit 2 wks after.

its strange not having my head constantly stuck in a pile of books. now i can get on with all the jobs that i have been putting off because i havent had time, like the omega's service and fixing a couple of faults on her.

with regards to flying the aircraft skruntie nope i cant do that i just get to sit in the back and talk to the pilot over the comms and tell him what to do to test the aircraft although i am looking at becoming a door gunner and a flying maintainer!!! more study for those though might just chillout for a while before i go to afgan in october!
