Blair's right, we shouldn't work.
« on: 21 February 2007, 10:52:47 »

I'm glad I don't work sometimes.  It's not worth the hassle of driving in.  I was out last night about 6 and after following a car at 35 in a 60 for several miles they finally pulled off.  Then as I came up on a bad intersection I slowed to 45-50.  No matter, a Land Rover pulled out right in front of me despite being able to see me for some time.  I had to slam on the brakes so hard the back moved over 6" before the ABS came in.  Just missed him.  Car did well enough.  Can understand the other guy too, it's a crap intersection on a crap road.  Like I said, take Blair's advice.  Don't work, then you won't have to drive to work.  :P

You are actually working then? You must be mad.... there's free money available if you stop working. Part for the government anti-pollution campaign – ‘we'll pay you to stay at home’ sort of thing.

Who me?!  No, I was picking the g/f up from her work to go to dinner.  She takes the bus, completely understand why.  We are looking to move, but only somewhere on the right bus route!
