I dont know a cure but I did think I was seriously ill as I kept finding bald patches downstairs, eventually mentioned my concerns to the missus who confessed to ripping some out as it was the only way to rouse me and stop me snoring for a bit

I was at the Doctor last week about my snoring - SWMBO had threatened to smash my forehead with the pointy end of her iron unless I did something about it. Ive tried nasal strips and most other things and nothing works.
My doc said the same , he uses one himsepf , just looks like 2 gumsheilds attatched with a piviting plasti restrainer. It moves your bottom of teeth , and jaw out about 1/2 inch , his wife said it cured him overnight . you will need to see your dentist who takes impressions of your teeth , 3 weeks later you go back to have a first fitting ,, mt mate said it takes a bit of getting used to and you sound like hanabel lector when its in but has 100% cured him , I think they are about £180, expensive but at least the partners get a good nights sleep as well



Anyway the Doc tells me there is a new bit of kit that you fit in your mouth at night which positions your bottom jaw slightly forward than your upper jaw that stops you snoring - try it - put your bottom teeth in front of your top teeth and try to snore - bet you cant. 

Problem is, Doctors cant prescribe them, only dentists  :-/. Tough - SWMBO will have to put up with it!

By the way - if I'm ever found in a bin liner in the Clyde with a hole in my head that you can fit a steam iron in....

My snoring got so bad, my missus video'd it on her phone as I didn't believe her  :-/

After she played it to everybody I got her back by saving it as her ring-tone
