I believe the threatening PMs being sent should be read by Admin and appropriate measures taken to ensure people who make threats like that have no place on a forum as good as this one is.......

Thanks AA for sorting the thread but i wonder if any measures are going to be taken against the one/s who abused and threatened as it wasnt't the first time  :-?

I agree that the whole thread had to go.  It became a cauldron for bad vibes.

I dealt with it by going to bed.  Fortunately, while I slept...

Editing a thread can be extremely difficult as people comment on nuances in other posts which may disappear in the edit.  There's a lot more to the exchanges than just the text.  Even the timing of them can be relevant.

I have missed this thread completely, and by the sound of it just as well!

If it was like earlier threads on this type of subject AA is right; they have NO place on this Forum, regardless of the "freedom of expression" principle as so often the people peddling racist comment do not want others to have their "freedoms"!!

I will say no more, other than say I was surrounded by children and adults of all different creeds, colours, shapes, sizes and religions yesterday at Chessington World of Adventures.  Everyone was getting along together, having fun together and on ocassions helping each other out.  That is how life should be continually!   Why make life so hard and uncomfortable by doing anything else; life is all too short!

We can't expect admins to do a full days work (however easy it may be )  and then have to go through every post and all related PM's on just one thread, due to some members stepping outside forum rules, on top of all the usual daily admin work.
Freedom of speech yes, but forum rules are clear enough.
