I thought it was quite poor

Much prefer the classic authors such as Clark & Asimov

Have you read the other books in the "Riftwars" series? Read them all a year or two back and found them impossible to put down.

Just about anything by Wilbur Smith is a top read too. :y

agreed. better than the da vindi code. just watched the movie (angels and demons) pretty good imo. :y

Very good book Ritchie if you like that try "King of the Gypsies" about Bartley Gorman they were supposed to fight but didn't.
Another good one "Stop the ride I want to get off" about Dave Courtney that had me in stitches :y
