Wasp Nest
« on: 03 August 2009, 21:39:30 »

I quite literary hate wasps. I see no purpose for their existance, apart from stinging you (though i'm sure they have one :-/).

The other week whilst out with Hanna, i came across a hole in a bank which turned out to be a wasp nest. I found just the right size stone & shoved it in the hole & then gave it a good kicking in with my boot (that'll give them sumat to do). I was out yesterday & came across another which received the same treatment & also on my rteurn journey i covered the blocked hole with another bigger stone. Had another look again tonight & the little buggers have dug around the big stone & bypassed the smaller one >:( So this time i gave the big stone a good kicking into the hole ;D No that will take some digging around. Tomorrow i'm taking some petrol & that'll sort them out :y :y :y 8-) 8-)
How do you make a wasp go woof :D

We had one buzzing away above our bedroom ceiling last year. Chap from the council came round with some pretty effective stuff. A couple of puffs into the vents in the eaves and no more wasps. :y

I'd say a can of flamable stuff (deoderant) and a lighter would be more fun than petrol :y
