Thats the best I can find at short notice, its only a couple of quid cheaper to go to Bristol (although one less change)

Its 19.50 on the bus + the cost of getting into brum

I work 'on the railway' Nick.
Let me have your originating station as well as the final destination station. Is Yatton the closest station to Clevedon?
If you can give me this information, then I'll see what I can come up with ASAP mate. I'm assuming she'll require a 'single' ticket.

As promised, the cheapest fare I can find is a 'Standard Open Single' from Walsall to Yatton at £40.00.
There's no need to pre-book, it can be bought at the station prior to travelling, and there's also no restrictions.
Without checking, I'd assume the journey will involve changing trains at Birmingham New Street and Bristol Temple Meads.

Just got back from work, and was going to say:
1631 ex-Walsall to New Street arrive 1659 (London Midland service)
1712 ex-New Street to Temple Meads arrive 1841 (Cross-Country Penzance service)
1855 ex-Temple Meads to Yatton arrive 1914 (First Great Western Taunton service)

Never mind, glad to have helped mate, and all the best for the weekend.
