im back
weding was fine and so was the weekend

i am still bit peed off as only 1 member turned up
my mom went into a lot of trouble cooking and setting up food for a buffet

i have even had a right telling off from the owner of the site as he was expecting people to turn up as i never had any pm's from people

all in all ive had 1 pm and 1 text message but that was only after i texted to ask where people was and i got another forum member to send pm's to all on the confirmed list

end of the day i had a great time
and i will be thinking twice about even thinking about organising any meets at all

Its a thankless job organising meets, and people inevitably drop out for various reasons, but the turnout v confirmed attendees was shocking.  It wasn't as if the weekend was a washout for camping

i never took deposits as i trusted people that was meant to be coming

Ann was less than complimentary about OOFers when the mood took her recently! Why should people make an effort after that outburst?

all was kicking off between oof and the other forum and basicly she said for people to grow up as so did a few others
how is that going to stop people from attending a meet

then again don't want to know we had a good weekend and for those that didnt turn up, i can just say 1 thing, you missed a great weekend and the weather was red hot

I think your being a bit paranoid Nick, don't worry about, so long as you enjoyed yourself what does it matter. It won't be the first time its happened and it certainly won't be the last.
