Having fun with the word filter
« on: 16 August 2009, 13:57:30 »

I've been typing naughty words into a post & seeing which words get through the word filter, quiet a few. Ones that aren't too bad like f4rt comes up flatulence, but w4mk3r gets through :-/ Oh the fun you can have when you're bored ;D ;D ;D

I wonder if the above configuration of letters and numbers will be offered as a private number plate. ;D

Why not pre-order it if you really wanted it?

I found a lot words not covered, so it made for a boring story.   ;D ;D

Is that necessary? Now I'm no angel by any stretch of the imagination, but pointless swearing isn't really necessary  :-/.  It certainly isn't clever to bypass the censor.

The filter is there more as a reminder than a challenge, and I have better things to do that constantly tweak it.

As said, we probably all swear too much in reality - I know I do - but common decency should tell us to tame it down when reminded by people (or by the censor)

Chill out Jaime....

F**k sakes mate....it's a joke for starters....and if anybody is truly offended then they shouldn't be on the bastard internet to start with.

We (the UK) mollycoddle people far too much these days...don't join the arsehole liberals mate.....it ain't becoming.

PS
Don't blame the "censor" in the forum software...you & I both know who dictates what is a bad word where the forum software is concerned  ;)
