Ok

We currently have a few minor issues with the forum.

These are being addressed but, as a result of these, there are a few user accounts which are currently corrupted and require restoring.

Please bare with us whilst we correct the outstanding issues.

It would also be useful if you could post below any accounts which are currently set as 'ex member'

Its gone pretty spectacularly tits up.

Need to do a little bit of planning, but expect an outage over this weekend if I get time.

In the meantime, a bodge has been implemented to hopefully increase stability caused, as usual, by Linux being crap...

The permissions error that was there yesterday morning was due to my account being well and trying shafted, and as it tried to open the main page and work out who were the mods for each board, it tries to read my account, but couldn't make sense of it, so assumed it couldn't access it.  Deleting my account, and rejigging who moderates each board fixed that issue.

The root cause is still predominantly the underlying OS, and the modest demands that the software places on that OS.
